Lady Fisher

This is a sweater that has been on my mind quite some time - but it took me a long time to find the perfect yarn! I bet most of you remember the kid's version of this Fisherman sweater, one of my very first designs. And many of you have requested a version for grownup ladies!

Then last year I found the perfect yarn in Jyväskylä Knit Fest, and bought a sweater quantity immediately! This is the perfect blush pink with all the speckles, called Peony Graffiti. I'm in love!

Lady Fisher

This sweater is something I have wanted to knit for a long time – an adult version of the fun Fisherman’s sweater originally designed for kids! When I saw this sweet color from La Bien Aimée, I knew instantly what those skeins were meant to be: A Lady Fisher sweater. The sweater is just as easy to knit as the kids’ version, but it has been modified for a better fit for all you ladies and it’s knit with fingering weight yarn.

Suggested yarn: Merino Singles by La Bien Aimée

Needles: US 6 (4 mm) and US 2½ (3.0 mm)

Finished chest circumference:
34 (38, 42, 46, 50, 54)” / 85 (95, 105, 115, 125, 135) cm Choose a size with 1-2” (2-5 cm) of positive ease.

Be Sweet

Spring! It's getting so close and I couldn't be happier! This is a perfect time to get these two sweet sweater patterns out there... I literally knitted up both my samples two years ago and since then they've just been waiting for that perfect time! And that time is now.

Suggested yarn: Bowland DK by Eden Cottage Yarns

Needles: US 8 (5 mm) and US 2½ (3.0 mm)

Finished body circumference:

Confetti

It's still full Winter here, but Spring is getting close! And typically Spring means new things for me. Staring fresh, starting new, you name it! So here I am, planning new things, starting new designs and new knits, but I never get to actually publishing all these new designs... And this isn't the first year this is happening. That "almost-ready-designs" -pile is getting very high! This is something I would love to change!

To get things moving, I just thought it's best simply to start... Somewhere. So I'm starting with a fun one:

Confetti Sweater

Confetti sweater is both loose and fitted – in all the right places! Fitted yoke and sleeves are paired with a very A-line shaped body making this little sweater fun and easy to wear. Confetti also has delicate stripes, making the color possibilities practically endless. Choose your favorite colors and cast on!

Suggested yarn: Hedgehog Fibres Skinny Singles and Lioness Arts Merino Singles

Needles: US 4 (3.5 mm) and US 2½ (3.0 mm)

Finished chest circumference: 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54)” / 75 (85, 95, 105, 115, 125, 135) cm.

Interpretations 4

Can't believe that it's the time again! For the fourth time, me and my knitter sister Joji, can finally share with you the result of our yearly collaboration! Here is -

Interpretations Vol. 4

You all know the drill by now! We chose six words, themes, for the collection, with two designs for each theme: our personal interpretation of the word. This time we chose the following words: Gather, Chromatic, Magic, Fragile, Direction and Hidden. More details on the website or on Ravelry!

Travelling has always been a big part of the photos, and because we are living on opposite sides of the world it's also a must! This time we returned to Finland for the second time.

Again we had the pleasure to work with the most wonderful photographer and dear friend! Jonna, I know I'm again repeating myself here (for fourth time probably), but you truly can see magic through the lens of your camera, you catch the things I never thought anyone can see! We are so grateful!

Also, there is a print option for the collection available from Pom Pom Press. We are so happy about this!
